Southern Arizona Youth in Harmony Festival

This annual event is open to all local high school, and, college, female and male vocal music students. Students will work on three songs each, in a workshop coached by two qualified clinicians. At the conclusion of the workshop the students will perform to an audience of ‘friends and family’. Students and teachers alike have the opportunity to share this music and experience upon return to their individual schools. Approximately 100 to 200-plus students attend each year and look forward to making new friends.
This year's clinicians are Douglas Carnes and Anna Lisa Glad.
The workshop is sponsored by the local chapters of Sweet Adelines Intl., and, the Barbershop Harmony Society. For a modest registration fee of $15, students receive music, lunch, snacks, and refreshments. Additionally, the students receive a commemorative t-shirt which is worn during the final performance.
